Les is a seasoned consultant who specialises in providing quality improvement advice and support to organisations across the Education and Skills sector. The main focus of his work has been on helping organisations to improve the quality of teaching and learning that they deliver.
Prior to entering the consulting profession Les held a variety of senior management posts in Further Education colleges, the Adult Learning Inspectorate and at the Department for Education and Skills. He is registered as an Associate Inspector with OFSTED.

Helen Ballard BA MA PGCE MSc
Helen is a Chartered Business Psychologist with 20 years’ experience of organisation and leadership development. The main focus of her work is to help teams and individuals to achieve their full potential. Her key areas of expertise are leadership development, team effectiveness interventions, and change management consultancy. An Associate Researcher at Sheffield University, she has the full range of psychometric accreditation including 16PF, CPI and Myers Briggs.
Previous senior positions include European organisation development specialist for Hewlett Packard and MSc Course Director at Bristol University.

Marion is a chartered training and development consultant and
practitioner, specialising in performance improvement at organisational
and individual levels through researched, targeted training and
development solutions. Highly skilled in project and relationship
management, she has extensive experience in research, training needs
analysis, and solutions creation in the business, public and voluntary
sectors. She has held management posts with, among others, the NatWest
